We’re steeped in history

Our roots are firmly planted in the Rawtenstall area. In fact, we’ve been protecting the Valley’s assets for more than 135 years.

Our founder, James Trickett, wanted to do something to help his local community, so in 1882 at Dale View, Haslingden Road, Tricketts Insurance Brokers was born. The area was alive, Rawtenstall was full of industrial creativity and soon business began to boom. In 1920, James Trickett bought an office at 13 Bank Street.

Over the years we’ve grown and developed, but we remain a family owned and family run business and we’re proud to say that Bank Street is still our home today.
